The peanut butter thinkThin bar looks like a hard chunk of peanut butter surrounded in a thin layer of chocolate. I think they are pretty good and don't have that typical "protein" chalky flavor. It might be worth trying just one bar before you buy a box though!

Don't worry, I'm always leery about trying new foods like that too. Its usually either hit or miss with me!RunLikeAGrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15760919784948255509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1741783326423643806.post-34975213365775347802012-04-16T09:52:21.073-04:002012-04-16T09:52:21.073-04:00Hi! Can you compare it to something, is it more like a Clif Bar or a Larabar? I've seen them around, but haven't tried one because I'm weird about energy/protein bar texture!!! Actually, I'm just weird. But that's another story. Thanks!Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08072474737871549880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1741783326423643806.post-921606530776098902012-04-15T22:29:10.190-04:002012-04-15T22:29:10.190-04:00Thanks. 5 more races and then I can't back out...Thanks. 5 more races and then I can't back out of the 2013 Marathon :)RunLikeAGrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15760919784948255509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1741783326423643806.post-88150381509572703182012-04-15T22:13:29.053-04:002012-04-15T22:13:29.053-04:00Congrats on being halfway through the 9+1! I'm so proud of you.

Yumm quinoa stuffed peppers sounds awesome! You'll have to tell me how to make stuffed peppers in general because I have no idea how. You know how cooking and I don't get along haha. I'll probably make a little bit of it this weekend and see how it fills me up. Good advice! Can't wait to try it.RunLikeAGrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15760919784948255509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1741783326423643806.post-61797990537648793142012-04-14T08:48:07.447-04:002012-04-14T08:48:07.447-04:00Just ran my first race ever! You got yourself a partner ;)

As for your new food selections, I'm glad you have joined the quinoa wagon. My favorite is quinoa stuffed peppers. Pretty easy to make and you can put anything you want in with it. I also use it in stir fry alot as some extra fiber and protein, but warning its super filling so you need less than you would if it was rice. Enjoy!Jennifernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1741783326423643806.post-43760837875380430712012-04-13T22:57:32.022-04:002012-04-13T22:57:32.022-04:00That was my plan too! It looks like its going to be a great day and I met some really nice women today who are running it!

I've never heard about quinoa as cereal. Interesting! I'm going to look up more about it and test it out. I would try flax and quinoa but maybe just get a small bag in case its not your thing. Who knows, though? It may be your new favorite food! Well, who am I kidding nothing beats chocolate.. but maybe quinoa will be in second?! :)RunLikeAGrlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15760919784948255509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1741783326423643806.post-18180073774557000242012-04-13T22:51:54.111-04:002012-04-13T22:51:54.111-04:00I think that's how I finally got talked into b...I think that's how I finally got talked into buying it.. there's SO many recipes with them in it!
